These works are about "promise of location".  The physical settings have drawn me in to interpret them, scenes from someone else's reality. What does life on these waters mean? Is it aspirational, a memory, meditative, peaceful, hopeful, anticipatory? One water horizon is connected as one view, one is framed and mirrored and the last one beckons via the open door. Lack of people and activity leave the "places" available to the viewer for interpretation.
