We are Powell Lane Arts, a collaborate endeavor between an artist mom and musician-writer daughter, Carol Taylor-Kearney and Caroline Kearney.

As practicing creatives, we love art, and our mission is three-fold:

First, we want to turn the art-curious into the art-confident, and art-confident into the art-buyer.  We have lots of art to view and lots of events for discussing.

Second, we want to help creatives develop professionally to have agency in their own careers.  School teaches you how to paint, write and sing, but not how to find grants, write a resume, apply for residencies or write a bio.  We can help.

Third, we believe that art should be a part of daily life. The practice of purchasing art has become vague, confusing, expensive and kind of involved.  We want to make it accessible, so we offer thoughtfully made art for the home, office and other domestic spaces at prices that should be accessible to lots of enthusiasts at lots of different budgets. #Art4Everyone
