My work is process driven and created with no preconceived idea.  I work from intuition and through exploration of materials.   I make marks and create layers over days, weeks or months and think about the result later.   This allows me to create in an experimental way often working on multiple pieces at a time.   I move back and forth between more geometric forms and gestural lines looking for balance.  Ultimately, the push and pull of the painting process leads to a destination.
