In my work I allow the flow of alcohol ink to organically form the structure of my piece. On occasion, I layer acrylic paint over the alcohol ink once it has dried. I also enjoy using fine liner pens to detail over the alcohol ink images. Usually, the artwork can stand alone if I am satisfied with the layout. Either way, I enjoy this medium for its ability to express gratitude, hope, healing, and self-acceptance.
