ARTIST STATEMENT
My abstract paintings, collages, and works on paper oftentimes take inspiration from landscape, but they are not a representation of any specific location. These images express in unabashed, exuberant color my enthusiasm for the natural world. My artwork results from a rather intuitive process and is frequently built up layer upon layer, until the image emerges triumphant.
