ARTIST STATEMENT
I became intrigued with quilling when I was taught how to make a snowflake in 2nd grade art class. From there I created small items and sold them in a local consignment shop. As I grew older, I started embellishing wedding invitations, birth announcements, and anniversary celebratory invites, which is one of the gratifying ways to express my artwork. I also enjoy creating original pieces inspired by nature or something in the beautiful world that surrounds us. The creative possibilities are endless with the array of colors and widths of paper used in this ancient form of Paper Filigree.
I became a member in the North American Quilling Guild several years ago.
Throughout the years, I have continued my love for this art which can be viewed on my website, www.Quill-Lin.com or Facebook page Quill-Lin or even a visit to my new studio in Bucks County, PA.
