ARTIST STATEMENT

All of my work is inspired by my own interests and topics from my education, as well as intended to challenge myself and develop my skills further. I now primarily work in gouache but enjoy the learning curve of adjusting to new mediums and trying different techniques. "Jellyfish" is an exaggeration of a story told by a friend, with all the tension they felt in that moment. Each one of my pieces is its own challenge and has been rewarding in the end.
