In creating my found object sculptures I find my self constantly asking questions.  " What was this used for? Who used it? How long has it been out in the elements?" Those questions help me imagine a rich history of the materials.  Exploration and asking, "what if?" has lead me to seeing and taking disparate, discarded bits and pieces from many places and times to create works that speak about the elements of air, water and earth; time and surface.  Juxtapositions of decay, natural and manmade materials challenge the viewer to see what was once abandoned reshaped into something new and be reborn.
