Artist Statement

Art is power and when I create a piece of art I feel empowered. I seek to empower others by utilizing positive messaging within my artwork through use of  both imagery and text. Fun, vibrancy and connectedness are at the core of my artwork. My goal is to create art for a multigenerational audience. I use art as a tool which gives a visual voice to the possibilities of what could be. I view art as an opportunity to build bridges among diverse groups of people.  As a self taught artist, I enjoy erasing boundaries and discovering what develops.  May my art appeal to your inner child, transport you into new fields of joy and motivate you to seek out shared similarities.
