ARTIST STATEMENT
Once in a while, I look back to my work and see how pieces relate to current work. This work is a concentration on the figure and is "married" to my personal autobiographical and biographical narratives. These pieces lead to my sculptural work and satisfied my intention of seeing the figure as carrying the weight of experience.
