ARTIST STATEMENT

My acrylic paintings are infused with hope and light, transporting the viewer to a place of inspiration. I practice intuitive painting, and my work explores layers of texture, rhythm and movement as I interpret it in the natural world. A playful connection to nature through my work brings a sense of delight. Poppies and other flowers are featured in many of my paintings, symbolizing resilience and rebirth.

 I reside in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and the rich botanical landscape of the region informs my paintings. I also enjoy escaping to the Caribbean, where the vibrant colors and lush vegetation provide inspiration. Vibrant colors in my paintings lift the spirits in a world that can seem uncertain and dim. It is my hope that my work will inspire viewers to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover beauty in unexpected places, and to take care of the earth.
