ARTIST STATEMENT

When I think of my art, one word comes to mind: vitality - the essence of a human being. Not only do I strive to infuse my work with this energy through explosive color and movement but, through art, to instill myself with vitality. The impact of color and proportion creates a joie de vivre. I experience this joy of life when painting, and I intend my paintings to reflect this joy.
