Plants, and all their parts, are designed by nature to serve a purpose. Each flower, every leaf, comes from a living creature that has survived. The incredible range of species prove there are a variety of ways to do so. I believe the purpose of art is expression. And, like plants, there are many ways for this to be accomplished. That is why I like to use pressed flowers and leaves as my medium. It reminds me of creativity, survival, and art itself.
